Brooke practises primarily in the areas of commercial and intellectual property law. Brooke works with local property owners and developers, corporate and commercial clients, government and state owned corporations, providing strategic advice on infrastructure projects, property acquisitions and disposals. Brooke also has experience in environmental and planning law in the areas of local government and environmental planning.
In 2010 Brooke became a registered Trade Marks Attorney and has experience in advising clients on registering, exploiting and protecting trade marks.
Experience
Brooke graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2002 with a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours (University of Tasmania) and commenced at Page Seager in 2003. Brooke was made an Associate of the firm in 2006. In 2010 Brooke became a registered Trade Marks Attorney.

Nicholas joined Page Seager in 2010 as an Associate in the firm’s corporate and commercial group with a primary interest and focus on commercial property and related matters.
Background
Prior to joining Page Seager Nicholas was the Principal Legal Officer for a Tasmanian government department where he provided advice on a wide variety of legal matters including the operation of statutory authorities, procurement and commercial contracting and leasing, funding agreements, corporate governance and compliance, intellectual property, privacy and statutory interpretation.
Nicholas has also worked for several years in another private Hobart law firm and was formerly the Associate to Mr. Justice Evans of the Supreme Court, Tasmania.

Experience
Gerry practised in Ireland for a number of years in the corporate / finance team of a leading Irish corporate firm before moving to Australia in 2002. Before joining Page Seager in 2009 as a partner in the firm’s corporate and commercial group, he spent a number of years practising in the structured finance team of a high profile international law firm before spending a year as a corporate lawyer with National Australia Bank and a number of years as a corporate lawyer with Hydro Tasmania.

Kathryn joined Page Seager in 2008 in the firm’s corporate and commercial group. Her areas of expertise include construction law, procurement and tendering, leasing and licensing, privacy, advising Government-owned corporations, energy and resources and general commercial contracting. Kathryn became a Partner of the firm in 2010.

Kathryn completed a Bachelor of Science and Laws (with Honours) at the Australian National University in 2000. She then spent seven years working in the mergers and acquisitions team of a high profile international law firm, followed by a year working for the Australian Government in procurement, tendering and commercial contracting.

Megan spent a year working in the firm’s General and Commercial Litigation areas before moving to the Corporate and Commercial group.
