Anthony regularly appears as Counsel in the Resource Management and Planning Appeals Tribunal and Tasmanian Planning Commission.

He also appears as Counsel in the Supreme Court principally in administrative law cases.

Naomi commenced employment in Page Seager’s Environment and Town Planning Department in 2010. Her work involves all aspects of planning approvals and appeals, amendments to planning schemes and heritage appeals.

Experience

Naomi graduated from the University of Tasman in 2007. Following completion of her Graduate Certificate in Legal Practice she worked in the area of health regulation assisting in the resolution of complaints concerning health professionals.

Kate is a member of Page Seager’s Environment and Town Planning practice group. Her work involves amendments to planning schemes, all elements of the planning approvals process and planning and heritage appeals.

Experience

Kate graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2010 with a combined Arts/Law degree with honours in law. After completing her Graduate Certificate in Legal Practice she commenced employment with Page Seager in 2011.

Planning and associated regulation has become a complex area that is underpinned by legislation, diverse planning schemes, State policies and case law.

A number of authorities or other individuals may become involved in any assessment within the resource management and planning regime, such as a local Council, the Environment Protection Authority, the Heritage Council, interested members of the public, the Resource Management and Planning Appeal Tribunal and the Tasmanian Planning Commission.
