Zac is a member of Page Seager’s commercial litigation group.  His work involves matters such as Magistrates Court civil litigation, debt recovery, enforcement of judgments and the provision of advice to clients in respect to general contracts and commercial issues.

Experience

Zac completed a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at the University of Tasmania in 2007 and commenced at Page Seager in 2008.  Before commencing his study Zac worked overseas in the yachting industry for seven years.

Admitted as a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 1982 and after working for the firm for six years became a Partner in 1988.

Colin has a wide range of experience in litigious matters including contract breaches, banking and financial law, corporate and personal insolvency, and trade practices matters.

A significant part of Colin’s work involves the provision of advice to many clients in respect to corporations law and general contract and commercial issues.

Experience

As an adjunct to his legal pursuits Colin is also a member of the Australian Tax Institute and is a qualified mediator. Colin also has directorships in private companies involved with aquaculture and property investment. In his spare time Colin is active in many sporting pursuits including deep sea diving and Australian Rules Football.

Mark joined Page Seager in 1999. He became a partner in 2006. He practices in the area of dispute resolution. Including, but not limited, to commercial and general litigation, estate litigation and construction litigation and arbitration.

Experience

Mark completed a Bachelor of Science and Law at the University of Tasmania in 1998. He then spent some time in Antarctica before completing the required legal practice course and starting with Page Seager.

Paula practises in commercial litigation, in particular dispute resolution including enforcement and execution of judgments, banking and finance law, corporate and personal insolvency as well as contractual and tenancy disputes and regularly appears in the Supreme, Federal and Magistrates Courts. She acts for both corporate clients and individuals. Paula successfully completed the postgraduate Advanced Insolvency course through the University of Southern Queensland in 2008.

Experience

Paula graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2003 with a Commerce/Law degree and commenced practice in a Hobart firm in 2004 and practiced in general and commercial litigation. Paula joined Page Seager in 2007 and has worked in the commercial litigation department exclusively.

Prior to graduation Paula worked for the Tasmanian State Revenue Office in a supervisory role overseeing the administration of various state taxes and stamp duty.

Kirsten joined Page Seager in 2009 as a graduate lawyer and since then has worked in all of the firm’s practice groups before deciding to specialise in the field of commercial litigation. Kirsten’s work involves matters such as debt recovery, enforcement of judgments and the provision of advice to clients in respect to general contracts and commercial issues.

Experience

Kirsten graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2008 with a combined Arts/Law degree, Kirsten received honours in Arts and first class honours in Law. In 2009 Kirsten completed the Professional Legal Training Program before commencing work at Page Seager.

In her time at University Kirsten was employed by the Dean of the Law School, wrote a paper on the state of easement law in Tasmania which then formed the basis of a Tasmanian Law Reform Institute Issues Paper, and tutored students in Property Law and Corporations Law.

We act for leading insolvency practitioners and leading financiers as well as national and international companies securing valuable outcomes on insolvency related issues and enforcement of judgments in both corporate and personal insolvencies.
