Page Seager appoints new Construction & Infrastructure Partner

Page Seager Lawyers is pleased to announce the appointment of David Palser as a Partner in the Construction & Infrastructure team.

David is a construction and infrastructure lawyer with over 20 years experience working in the construction and infrastructure industry in various legal, commercial and senior executive roles. He has worked in Australia, United Kingdom, Switzerland and Hong Kong and has been involved with construction and infrastructure projects in over 40 countries in Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, North America and South America.

David’s deep understanding of the global construction industry enables him to deliver successful business outcomes across the full project lifecycle, including project development, tendering and contract formation, start-up and delivery, and claims and dispute management.

Prior to joining Page Seager, David was Executive General Manager, Risk and Governance with Leighton Asia (part of the CIMIC Group) based in Hong Kong.  His responsibilities included legal, pre-contracts, risk management, insurance, quality, ethics, compliance and internal audit. He has also held the roles of General Counsel with Leighton Asia, Global Head of Legal with Alstom Power (a major international power plant contractor) in Zurich and Divisional Commercial Manager with Leighton Contractors in Melbourne.

In addition to his corporate career, he also spent a number of years with international law firms King & Wood Mallesons in Melbourne and Linklaters in London, where he was a construction lawyer.
