Areas of expertise


Sam has particular expertise in responding to and resolving claims arising from employment disputes, minimising risks associated with termination of employment and assessing and resolving workplace conflict (including allegations of bullying and harassment).

Prior to Page Seager, Sam worked in a law firm advising employees and small businesses. Sam’s insights into employee interests and the challenges faced by small business assists in reaching practical and effective outcomes for clients.


Sam regularly advises on employment disputes including unfair dismissal and adverse action, workplace conflict (such as bullying allegations) and managing underperforming employees. Sam regularly appears as an advocate in the Fair Work Commission and has experience as an advocate before the Full Bench of the Fair Work Commission on appeals and adverse action arbitration.

Sam guides clients through disciplinary/performance processes with a view to reaching practical, efficient outcomes to reduce the risks and potential liability arising from any claim. This includes undertaking workplace investigations and assessments in relation to workplace complaints with a view to assisting clients to take early, appropriate response action to deal with workplace disputes between employees.
