Sarah works closely with landowner, developer and investor clients to provide commercial and outcome driven advice across commercial, industrial and residential property matters. Sarah’s responsive and personalised service has seen her take on a trusted advisor role to many of her clients.

Sarah’s principal areas of practice include property acquisitions and disposals, property development and subdivisions, structuring advice, property related tax advice, and leasing matters.


Sarah’s commitment to the Victorian property industry is demonstrated by her involvement in industry groups such as the Victorian Planning and Environment Law Association and the Urban Development Institute of Australia’s Victorian Division, with Sarah being appointed as Chairperson of the latter’s Women in Property Committee in 2013.

Examples of recent significant transactions include:

  • Acting for the developer of one of the largest “new community” broad acre developments in Australia comprising over 7,000 dwellings, schools, shopping centres and community facilities;
  • Acting for Branson Group in relation to its Saintly Place and 16o North projects;
  • Advising and acting on behalf of a private landowner in the sale of future development land to a publicly listed developer for over $40 million;
  • Acting for Australia’s largest home builder in relation to its construction of medium density sites including the new Coburg Hill Estate;
  • Acting for Vicland Property Group on the acquisition, construction, leasing and disposal of the Point Cook Community Shopping Centres, including the negotiation of large chain service station and supermarket leases;
  • Acting on the redevelopment of Western Private Hospital, including negotiation with Council of airspace and land swap agreements, negotiation with authorities regarding relocation of electricity easements and preparing and negotiating agreements for lease, leases and disclosure statement for new tenancies; and
  • Acting for The Grange Group in multiple industrial developments in South East Melbourne.
