Charles was admitted to practice in 1985.  He started with Page Seager in 1990, and became a partner in 1993. 

Charles specialises in matters of insurance indemnity, the Insurance Contracts Act 1984, professional indemnity, public liability and general indemnity advice.  He has a wide range of leading national insurers as clients.  He also acts for the Motor Accidents Insurance Board, the statutory motor vehicles insurer in Tasmania.

Charles has extensive experience in advising on these legal matters, and appears regularly as Counsel before the Supreme Court of Tasmania. 

Charles is a member of the Tasmania Bar Association, and the Australian Insurance Law Association.

In his spare time Charles enjoys keeping fit and enjoying the company of his wife and children.
