Rod graduated from the University of Tasmania in 1994 and was the Associate to Chief Justice Cox of the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 1995.
Rod joined Page Seager in October 2007 after returning from Western Australia where he practised in workplace relations with a national law firm and later as an industrial relations consultant providing on-site services and as a director of a specialist incorporated legal practice.
Rod blends practical legal advice with a strong understanding of his clients' business objectives and the industry in which they operate. Rod also regularly appears as counsel in various Courts, Commissions and Tribunals.
Rod provides a full range of workplace relations services across a range of industries including workplace agreements, arrangements with independent contractors, defending prosecutions, consequences of restructures and sales of business, bullying and harassment, OH&S and workplace investigations.
He is a member of the Tasmanian Law Society and past professional representative of the Industrial Relations Society of Western Australia and has tutored in workplace law at Murdoch University.
In his spare time Rod enjoys playing the guitar, sea kayaking and fishing.
