An excellent opportunity exists for a lawyer with 1 to 3 years post graduate experience to join our Employment and Dispute Resolution team.  This position has been created due to expansion within this group and is a great opportunity for the right person to continue to build their career in this field.

Page Seager is a specialised commercial and insurance law firm.  We are structured into dedicated teams with distinct expertise and industry sector knowledge.

Ideally you will have experience in employment and safety or general litigation and be looking to develop a career in this exciting growth area.

In this position you will work on a diverse range of contentious and non-contentious areas for employers including:

  • Developing and advising on employment contracts and workplace policies;
  • Advising as to employee entitlements;
  • Managing employee conduct complaints and assisting in the conduct of workplace investigations;
  • Termination of employment disputes, including unfair dismissal claims and general protections (adverse action) claims; and
  • Providing advice and training on workplace health & safety to clients.

Additionally, you will work on commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters in the Supreme Court, Magistrates Court and Federal Court jurisdictions.
