Overview

Hari works closely and collaboratively with many national insurers and claim agents to assist them with claim management and strategy, and provides advice in the areas of workers compensation and third-party claims. Hari has a practical and resolution-oriented approach and progresses claims in a cost-effective manner.

Hari has broad experience in insurance and liability and professional indemnity claims in which he has a philosophy of early resolution of claims whenever commercially possible.

Hari appears regularly as counsel in the Tasmanian Civil & Administrative Tribunal and Supreme Court.

Experience

Examples of relevant recent experience include:

• providing advice in relation to workers compensation claims management and strategy;
• assisting in the settlement of workers compensation claims and civil actions;
• providing advice in relation to injured persons’ legislative entitlements;
• acting in disputed compensation claims in the Tasmanian Civil & Administrative Tribunal on behalf of insurers.
