Overview
Mikayla graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2022 with a Bachelor of Laws. Following her studies, Mikayla worked in commercial real estate, managing a diverse portfolio of commercial assets for clients across Tasmania. She then returned to the law and was admitted as a Lawyer to the Supreme Court of Tasmania in August 2024, working at another firm in Hobart before joining Page Seager in June 2025.
Mikayla practises as a member of our Corporate & Commercial group, advising across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters including:
- business asset and share acquisitions and disposals;
- preparation and negotiation of non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements;
- review of supply of goods and services agreements;
- preparation of governance and shareholder agreements; and
- general contract and commercial advice.
Mikayla also has in-house experience, having completed a secondment with a local Government Business Enterprise. During this time, she assisted in the early contractor prequalification and proposal stages of a large redevelopment project. She supported the projects and procurement teams with contract management, review of construction documentation, probity policies and requirements and negotiation and preparation of confidentiality agreements.
