COVID-19 and contract law – new contracts entered into during a pandemic

With the effects of COVID-19 impacting businesses, newly formed contracts must have provisions which adequately respond to the issues posed by the virus. In this article, we discuss the problems with contracts which are not amended to deal with the ramifications of the virus and what must be considered when drafting new provisions to satisfactorily respond to its impacts.
